This next image was taken just after 5pm when I had finished the firing. I had shut down the kiln and walked out of the shed. I looked to the east and this is what I saw. I am taking this as a good omen. I will unload on Thursday.

Firing
Today's firing went well. The image below was taken just after I added the salt to the kiln. 
This next image was taken just after 5pm when I had finished the firing. I had shut down the kiln and walked out of the shed. I looked to the east and this is what I saw. I am taking this as a good omen. I will unload on Thursday.
